Introducing the new visual identity of the UEFA Champions League, inspired by the concept of Kick of Light. Working with Found Studio, we designed two key brand assets: the iconic Starball and the Ultimate Stage.
I took on a leading role from conceptual stages through to completion on this job. My work started with designing the stadium façade, drawing on brand motifs to define its form and identity.
I also established the wider architectural vision for the fictional city. drawing on conventional city‑planning strategies to chart its growth and urban development. Creating a world with depth and authenticity, a city that carries its history in its layout where new structures emerge from what came before.
The iconic Starball was also redesigned, adopting a new all‑glass look that aligned with the client’s ‘Kick of Light’ motif, introducing colour through natural refractions within the glass.
